Star hero says his 3D film won’t cause a headache

Malayalam children’s fantasy drama Barroz marks the directorial debut of legendary Mohanlal. He also plays the lead role in this flick. Barroz should have hit the screens in 2023, but the film was postponed several times due to delays in the post-production and 3D works. Finally, the movie is coming to the big screens on December 25, 2024.

The star actor is aggressively promoting the film, and in one of the interviews, Mohanlal said that the 3D version won’t cause a headache. Mohanlal said, “Luckily, we came up with a good product, which I think so. A few saw the film, and thankfully, they didn’t have a headache. Generally, people say watching a film in 3D gives them a headache. That will not be the case with Barroz. Everything fell in the right place for the film.”

Barroz’s plot and screenplay were penned by Jijo Punnoose based on the novel Barroz: Guardian of D’Gama’s Treasure. Antony Perumbavoor bankrolled the biggie under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas. The movie also stars Maya, Cesar Lorente Raton, Kallirroi Tziafeta, Tuhin Menon, and Guru Somasundaram in significant roles.
