Emergency is one film that is all set to hit the screens on September 6, 2024. Kangana Ranaut acts and directs this film which is based on the life of Indira Gandhi.

Ahead of the film’s release, Kangana has received several death threats. So, she has sought police protection in Maharastra and Himachal Pradesh where she is an MP.

The news is that several Punjabi outfits have asked for a ban on Emergency stating that the film will showcase Sikhs in a bad light. That is the reason, several Sikh personalities have gone against the film.

But Kangana is not in the mood to slow down and is promoting the film on an aggressive scale. A few of her comments years ago showed the Sikh community in a bad light.

Now that she is playing Indira Gandhi in Emergency, the Sikh community feels that they will be showcased as the ones who planned and plotted against Indira Gandhi’s death. Let’s see what happens.
