Disha Patani is currently one of the hottest stars in the country. She was last seen in Prabhas’ Kalki 2898 AD and the recently released Kanguva featuring Suriya.
Well, Disha’s father has now made headlines. Not many know that her father, Jagdish Patani, is a deputy superintendent of police in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh.
The news is that he has filed a case against some of his colleagues and other individuals, alleging that they extorted ₹25 lakhs from him by promising a high-ranking position in the police department.
Three men reportedly duped Disha’s father, demanding ₹5 lakhs in cash and transferring the remaining ₹20 lakhs to different accounts. When the promised position did not materialize, he became suspicious and discovered he had been cheated.
