Star producer sells his office to repay debts

Hindi producer Vashu Bhagnani needs no introduction. He has been around for over two decades and has produced some of the biggest films in Hindi cinema with the likes of Govinda and so many other big stars in Bollywood.

But sadly, his last few films, like Ganpath, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Bell Bottom, and several other collabs with other banners, ended as massive flops in his career. He is now in deep debt.

Now, news has come out that Vashu Bhagnani has sold his seven-floor office in Mumbai for a whopping 250 crore to repay his debts. Bhagnani’s last film, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, was made on a budget of 300 crore and did not even make 60 crore at the box office.

All these flops have resulted in him ending up in deep debt. The news is also that Vashu Bhagnani and his son, Jack Bhganani, have now rented a two-bedroom apartment as their new office and have sacked most of his staff to reduce the burden.

The Bhagnani family was in the news as Vashu Bhagnani’s son, Jacky, married star heroine Rakul Preet Singh in a grand wedding in Goa. Watch this space for more updates.
