Vishnu Manchu has been working on his dream project, Kannappa, over the last few years. The actor has put his sweat, blood, and tears into this film and pulled off a casting coup by roping Prabhas, Akshay Kumar, Mohanlal, and Kajal in pivotal roles. The film was supposed to be released on April 25, but the latest update reveals that it has been postponed indefinitely.
Vishnu Manchu took to his social media and issued a press note regarding the postponement. He wrote,” We are committed to delivering a cinematic spectacle that meets the highest standards. To ensure this, we need a few more weeks. We sincerely regret the wait and understand the anticipation surrounding this film.”
Kannappa’s new release date will be announced at a later date. Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, the film also features Mohan Babu Sarathkumar, Arpit Ranka, Kaushal Manda, Rahul, Madhu, Devraj, Mukesh Rishi, Brahmanandam, and Madhoo. Backed by 24 Frames Factory and AVA Entertainment, the music is composed by Stephen Devassy and Mani Sharma.
