At a promotional event in Chennai, Suriya made a big statement about Kanguva, which is now making rounds on social media. He said that every director and filmmaker in the country will be left jaw-dropped and shocked after watching Kanguva. Suriya particularly spoke highly about the film’s visuals captured by cinematographer Vetri Palaniswamy.
Suriya added, “It will be a never-before-seen film. I’m saying this with utmost humbleness. Karan Johar asked how we pulled it off after watching the film for around 45 minutes. The movie is set 700 years back. The story is about four to five islands. People living there worship fire, water, and blood.”
The actor once again stated that the movie would primarily focus on forgiveness and added that the emotional quotient would have high significance besides adrenaline action sequences. Siruthai Siva directed this mega-budget flick, which also has Bobby Deol and Disha Patani in pivotal roles.
