Up next, the actor will be seen in Suriya44, directed by Karthik Subbaraj. The makers are planning to release it in Summer 2025.

Suriya is currently occupied with the shoot of his 45th film, for which RJ Balaji is the director. The latest news is that the actor is holding talks with Malayalam filmmaker Amal Neerad. The duo is said to have met during Suriya44’s Kerala schedule and discussed a subject. As per the Kollywood circles, Suriya wants to wrap up the film in about 40 days.

Suriya hasn’t had many releases in the last few years, and if he decides to do a quick project, it will surely be good news for fans. Amal Neerad is known for the mega-blockbuster Bheeshma Parvam, which featured Mammootty in the lead role. Amal Neerad was once a cinematographer, and later, he tried his hand at direction.
