Kollywood star Suriya has joined forces with acclaimed Tamil filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj for his highly anticipated 44th project. The film, which went on floors in Andaman in June, has wrapped up its production formalities today.
Suriya took to X this evening and tweeted, “A wholesome, happy shoot got done across several locations… Lots of memories with the super talented cast & crew.” The actor was all praise for his director and went on to say that he made a brother for life. “Thank you & our team for making #Suriya44 a memorable experience,” he concluded.
Suriya44 has star heroine Pooja Hegde playing the female lead. Suriya’s 2D Entertainment banner is bankrolling this gangster drama, while Kalki fame Santhosh Narayanan is composing the music. Incidentally, Suriya’s Kanguva is gearing up for its theatrical release on November 14. Suriya44 might be hitting theaters worldwide in summer next year.
