Ravi Teja’s Eagle should have hit the big screens this Sankranthi season, but it got postponed to February. The actor has always encouraged debutant directors. But do you know that Bimbisara director Vasshista’s first film was supposed to be with Ravi Teja? In a recent interview, Vasshista revealed the same.
Vasshista said that he narrated a story to Ravi Teja, and the latter also liked it. However, due to budget issues, the project didn’t take off. “Ravi Teja Garu encouraged me very much. He used to say I am good at narration. My imagination and thoughts were so big, and producers were not ready to spend such a huge amount for my first film,” said Vasshista.
The young director said, “Ravi Teja Garu and I had multiple discussions, and during this process, we understood that the subject requires a huge budget. Also, Ravi Garu was occupied with multiple projects. Hence, that project never happened. Then, I was supposed to make a film with Allu Sirish. Even the opening ceremony happened, but that project also didn’t happen due to budget issues.”
