Now, Ajay Devgn has announced a sequel to Raid, which is titled Raid 2. Ajay Devgn will be back as Amay Patnaik, and the movie is scheduled for release on November 15, 2024.

The opening ceremony is scheduled today in Mumbai. Upon the request of Ravi Teja and Harish Shankar, Mr. Bachchan, Ajay Devgn gave them the rights of Raid, and as a token of gratitude, the team of Mr. Bachchan, including Ravi Teja, Harish Shankar, producers TG Vishwa Prasad, and Vivek Kuchibotla, are traveling to Mumbai on a special flight to attend Raid 2’s opening ceremony.

Raid 2 will be produced by T-Series. Raj Kumar Gupta, who directed the first part, is helming the sequel as well. Raid is based on a real-life income-tax raid conducted on Indian industrialist Sardar Inder Singh, which lasted about 3 days. This is the longest raid in Indian history. We must wait until November 15 to know what Raid 2 is about.
