Aranmanai is a successful horror comedy franchise. The next film in the series is Aranmanai 4, which stars Sundar C, Tamannaah Bhatia, and Raashi Khanna in the lead roles. The Telugu version is titled Baak and is slated for a grand release on May 3. Directed by Sundar C, Baak is produced by Khushbu Sundar and ACS Arun Kumar under Avni Cinemax P Ltd. Today, the makers unveiled the Telugu trailer which entertains as well as scares.
It begins with a happy family of four living comfortable lives, who are unfortunately found dead in bizarre circumstances. It is alleged during the investigation process that the husband went to the forest after a fight with his wife, played by Tamannaah, and died. Later, she hung herself. However, Sundar’s character, who is a lawyer and also Tamannaah’s brother, refuses to believe that his sister would kill herself.
The trailer also depicts other characters, including Raashi Khanna, who lives in a haunted house. Some in the house discuss on how to control the powers of the ghost named Baak. There is an evil wizard thrown into the mix. While Sundar C’s character looks serious, Tamannaah scares as the ghost Baak.
Vennela Kishore, Srinivasa Reddy, Delhi Ganesh, and Kovai Sarala evoke laughter. E Krishnamurthy’s cinematography is top-notch, while Hiphop Tamizha’s background score is impactful. Asian Suresh Entertainment LLP will be releasing the movie in Telugu states.
