After Raja Raja Chora, Sree Vishnu and director Hasith Goli reunited forces for a unique entertainer titled Swag. The film is set to release in theaters on October 4, 2024. The theatrical trailer hinted that audiences are in for a crazy ride. The movie explores the theme of gender dominance across various eras. As Swag is up for release tomorrow, the film’s producer and head of People Media Factory, TG Vishwa Prasad, interacted with the media.
According to TG Vishwa Prasad, narrating Swag’s story in 2 hours and 36 minutes was the most challenging part. He said, “Production-wise, we had no challenges. But creatively, it is difficult to narrate this story in such crisp runtime. Hasith Goli designed solid characterizations. The screenplay won’t be complicated. It will be very simple and engaging.”
The producer added, “The first half is all about the character establishments. The initial hour also offers entertainment, thrills, and surprises to the audience. The latter half will be high on emotions. Swag has a strong message apart from the commercial elements.” Rithu Varma plays the female lead. The movie also features Meera Jasmine, Daksha Nagarkar, Sunil, Goparaju Ramana, Ravi Babu, Saranya Pradeep, and Getup Srinu in pivotal roles.
