Generally, old hit films are re-released in theatres to celebrate and relive the magical moments. But in Telugu, Ram Charan’s disaster Orange was re-released, and it has put up a great show at the ticket windows with a thumping response from the audience. The same happened in Bollywood as well with the critically acclaimed romantic drama Laila Majnu.

The movie is headlined by Animal fame Triptii Dimri and Avinash Tiwary. Laila Majnu initially hit the screens back in 2018 and became a box office dud with around 2.18 crores nett in its lifetime. Over the years, Laila Majnu gained cult status among the audience with its heart-touching content. The film was re-released on last Friday.

The re-release collections have outgrossed the initial run collections in flat four days, which is nothing short of a sensation. Interestingly, the weekday numbers are much higher than the opening day (re-release). The five-day collections have already gone past the 3 crore nett mark. Sajid Ali directed this flick.

On Tuesday, the movie went bonkers with stunning occupancies all over. Had Laila Majnu re-released during some other time, it would have had a splendid long run, but now it won’t have long legs due to the arrival of juggernaut Stree 2.
