Guntur Kaaram, fronted by Mahesh Babu, is up for a grand release on 12th January. The makers have applied for ticket hikes in both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The Telangana government approved a hike of Rs. 65 for the single screens and Rs. 100 for multiplexes. These hikes are applicable for one week, i.e., from 12th January to 18th January.
Also, six shows can be screened for the first week in Nizam. The government also permitted the screening of benefit shows from 1:00 AM on the release day. As the government approved a hike, the advance bookings are expected to commence anytime from hereon.
Directed by Trivikram, the movie stars Sreeleela and Meenakshii Chaudhary as the female leads. This big-ticket film is produced by S. Radha Krishna under the banner of Haarika and Haasine Creations. SS Thaman composed the tunes for this flick.
