Youthful fun entertainer Mad, starring Narne Nithin, Sangeeth Shobhan, and Ram Nithin in the lead roles, was a blockbuster at the ticket windows. The movie featured Gouri Priya, Ananthika Sanilkumar, and Gopika Udayan as the female leads. The film’s success motivated the team to attempt a sequel titled Mad Square.
According to the latest buzz, this crazy sequel is expected to hit the big screens on Maha Shivaratri 2025, clashing with Nithiin’s Thammudu. Mad Square should have been released in 2024, but the release was pushed back for reasons unknown.
Reportedly, Priyanka Jawalkar is part of this second installment. The gorgeous beauty is said to be playing a pivotal role, adding the glam factor to the mad-cap entertainer. The makers released a song named ‘Laddu Gaani Pelli,’ which became a solid hit.
Kalyan Shankar, who directed Mad, is also helming Mad Square. Haarika Suryadevara and Sai Soujanya are producing it under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas. Bheems Ceciroleo is composing the tunes.
