The psychological thriller Yevam, starring Chandini Chowdhary in the lead role, will be released on June 14th. Prakash Dantuluri is the director, and the movie also has Vasista Simha, Bharat Raj, and Ashu Reddy in pivotal roles. Today, the makers launched the theatrical trailer, giving us a sneak peek into the world of Yevam.
Star director Anil Ravipudi launched the trailer digitally. It starts with Chandini Chowdhary taking responsibility as a police officer. She doesn’t get proper support from her parents, who ridicule her decision. But her senior (played by Bharat) encourages her, and they soon fall in love. Suddenly, a serial killer starts killing women, and all hell breaks loose.
Vasista Simha is the antagonist with lustful thoughts, and the trailer also hints at exploring aspects like the objectification of women and the celebration of their strength, breaking all barriers. All in all, the trailer assures a thrilling ride by touching upon a few significant issues faced by women in society.
