Samantha is gearing up for the release of her web series Citadel: Honey Bunny. The spy action thriller directed by Raj & DK will premiere on Prime Video in the month of November. Before Citadel’s promotions, the star heroine made a public appearance today. She attended the Telugu pre-release event of the emotional action drama Jigra, spearheaded by Alia Bhatt. Trivikram Srinivas also graced the function.

The presence of the Tollywood star director and the ever-green beauty was the main highlight of the event. During his speech, Trivikram, the wizard of words, made a big statement about Samantha that is now making rounds on social media. Trivikram said, “I think after Rajinikanth Garu, Samantha has an equal fanbase in Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam. I am not saying this simply out of love for Samantha. I am saying this wholeheartedly.”

Trivikram praised Samantha to the sky in the event. He added, “Samantha Garu, please visit Hyderabad too without limiting yourself to Mumbai. We are worried that you may not come here. Hence, we are not writing stories for you. We doubt whether or not you will act in Telugu. If you give your nod, we are ready to design characters for you.”

With Trivikram’s speech, speculations are now rife that Samantha might play a key role in Trivikram’s next, which is with Icon Star Allu Arjun. To note, Trivikram and Samantha previously worked on the films Attarintiki Daredi, S/o Sathyamurthy, and A. Aa.
