The upcoming Tamil biggie The Greatest of All Time (The GOAT), starring Thalapathy Vijay in dual roles, is all set for a massive release this Thursday in multiple languages, including Telugu. Directed by Venkat Prabhu, the movie features Meenakshi Chaudhary as the female lead.

In a recent interview, Venkat Prabhu revealed an interesting fact: during the pandemic, he wrote The GOAT with Superstar Rajinikanth and Dhanush in mind. He envisioned casting them as father and son, but unfortunately, it didn’t materialise. Later, after a few changes were made to the script, Vijay agreed to take on both roles. Ardent fans of Rajinikanth and Dhanush feel that it would have been a monumental cinematic event in Kollywood if they had starred in the film.

The GOAT also features a stellar ensemble cast, including Prabhudeva, Prasanth, Sneha, Jayaram, VTV Ganesh, Ajmal Ameer, Manobala, Laila, Yogi Babu, Vaibhav, Premgi, Ajay Raj, and Aravind Akash. Produced under the AGS Entertainment banner with Archana Kalpathi and Kalpathi S. Aghoram as producers, the film has music provided by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
