Venkatesh – I have managed to crack emotional scenes

Venkatesh’s Saindhav is hitting the big screens on 13th January. The makers are busy with promotional interviews. In a recent interview, Venkatesh was asked how he approaches a character and the kind of preparation he does for a role. Venkatesh said that he doesn’t put in too much effort, and he added that there is some other energy that is driving him.

Venkatesh said, “I think God gives us few features like good eyes, body language, and a good smile. I haven’t been to any acting school. I have managed to crack emotional scenes. There are so many things that will contribute to an actor’s performance, like script, co-stars, and cameraman.”

Venkatesh continued, “During my initial years of career, people used to say actors were not great in emotional scenes. I was doing Dharmachakram, and I told my director we needed to give our best. I really worked hard for an emotional scene. I used to practice in front of my mirror. At times, I used to listen to sad songs of Ilaiyaraaja sir. That’s how I got better.”
