Hero Venkatesh had wrapped up shooting for Narappa, the much-awaited remake of Kollywood star Dhanush’s acclaimed rural revenge drama, Asuran, before the lockdown. The film will be hitting screens soon after the lockdown is lifted.
Venky finished dubbing for his part in Narappa during the lockdown. Since the film is set in Anantapur backdrop, Venky took special care to get his accent and other nuances right while dubbing. Apparently, a language trainer was specially roped in to oversee Venky’s dubbing formalities.
Priyamani reprises Manju Warrier’s role in Narappa. This Sreekanth Addala directorial has been produced by Suresh Babu and Asuran producer Kalaipuli S Thanu. Manisharma is the film’s music composer.
