Venky Atluri is the man of the moment, with back-to-back hits under his belt. His last two films, Sir and Lucky Bhaskar, have been blockbuster hits at the box office.
Speaking about his film Sir with Dhanush, Venky revealed that many top heroes had rejected the project because they didn’t like the film’s ending.
Venky shared that several popular actors wanted him to change the climax of Sir, but since he was unwilling to compromise, they chose not to sign the film.
“Left with no choice, I went to Dhanush and narrated the film. He listened to the story, clapped, and loved the climax. Even I was shocked as he was okay with the unique ending of the film, and that’s how he came on board,” says Venky.
Venky is now a prominent name in Telugu cinema. His recent work, Lucky Bhaskar with Dulquer Salmaan, has won the hearts of many and solidified his reputation as a skilled filmmaker.
