Vijay Deverakonda clarifies his statement regarding not working with debutant directors

Talented actor Vijay Deverakonda eagerly awaits the grand release of his upcoming movie, Family Star, directed by Parasuram Petla. Starring Mrunal Thakur as the female lead, the film is all set to hit theaters this Friday.

During today’s press meet, Vijay Deverakonda clarified the statement he made in a recent interview about not working with debut directors from hereon. He explained, “Who will work with debutant actors if I lock debutant directors for my projects? New actors need them, and I am open to collaborating with them after a film, regardless of its box office performance.”

He further added, “I need to understand the director’s vision and expertise before committing to a project. Additionally, considering the substantial budgets of my films now, I have to be responsible and ensure I make informed decisions. Hence, I mentioned that I prefer directors with at least one movie under their belt, provided the script is compelling.”

With this clarification, many now understand Vijay Deverakonda’s stance on working with debutant directors, as discussed in the previous interview.

Family Star is produced by Dil Raju under Sri Venkateswara Creations, with music by Gopi Sundar. Stay tuned for more exciting updates on this cinematic venture.
