Tollywood actor Vijay Deverakonda is all set for his upcoming film VD 12, a spy-action drama directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri. The movie, being made on a grand scale, is scheduled for release on March 28, 2025, in multiple languages.
In addition to VD 12, Vijay has two more exciting projects in the works, one of which is being helmed by Rahul Sankrityan. This film (VD 14) is said to be a period drama focusing on the life of a short-lived king in Indian history. Produced on a massive scale, the project has already generated significant buzz.
Reports suggest that Rashmika Mandanna has been finalised as the female lead for this pan-Indian film. If confirmed, this will mark their third collaboration, following their successful films Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade.
An official announcement from the VD 14 team is expected soon. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the film’s regular shoot is set to begin in 2025, with more details to follow.
