Vijay Deverakonda’s recent outing, Family Star, came amidst good expectations. The movie marked the second collaboration of Parasuram and Vijay after the blockbuster Geetha Govindam. However, the film’s content failed to impress the audience, and it eventually became a failure at the box office.
Family Star recently had its world television premiere on Star Maa. The latest update is that the movie registered a TRP of 6.11 on the first telecast. Once again, a film that didn’t perform well in theatres raked in a good response on television, similar to that of Skanda, Kondapolam, and Aadikeshava.
Mrunal Thakur played the female lead. Produced by Dil Raju under Sri Venkateswara Creations, the movie also features Jagapathi Babu, Abhinaya, Vasuki, Rohini Hattangadi, Ravi Babu, Vennela Kishore, and Divyansha Kaushik in pivotal roles. Gopi Sundar composed the tunes.
