The hype and expectations for Vijay Deverakonda’s highly anticipated action drama, Kingdom, reached new heights following the release of the film’s stupendous teaser. The unique world created by director Gowtam Tinnanuri, Vijay’s striking screen presence, and Anirudh Ravichander’s rousing score together made the teaser a smash hit among fans.
Meanwhile, speculations about Kingdom being a two-part franchise have been doing the rounds for the past few days. Today, during Mad Square’s promotions, producer Naga Vamsi has confirmed that Kingdom is indeed being made as a two-part franchise. “We didn’t extend the story just to make it a two-part franchise. The film has the scope and scale to release in two parts,” said the producer.
Naga Vamsi further said that Kingdom ticks all the boxes like screenplay, logics, grandeur, and action. Whether the second part will be titled Kingdom Square or Kingdom Part 2 will be decided after seeing the first part’s box office result and range,” he added. Also starring Bhagyashri Borse in a lead role, Kingdom is scheduled to open in cinemas worldwide on May 30, 2025.
