Versatile actor Vijay Sethupathi is riding high on the success of his 50th film Maharaja. The movie is doing phenomenal business not just in Tamil but also in Telugu. The film is directed by Nithilan Swaminathan and all those who have watched it have only good things to say about it. In a recent interview, Vijay Sethupathi was asked if he would do films in Telugu.
Vijay Sethupathi said, “I am open to doing Telugu films. I heard many stories and a few of them were really good. But the thing is I am not very much impressed with the roles that were offered to me. Some stories were really amazing but I felt those roles wouldn’t be good for me. Hence I choose to be away from those projects.”
Later Vijay Sethupathi was asked if he wishes to work with any Telugu director. The actor said, “I don’t see things that way. If you ask me the kind of films I want to do, then I can give you an answer. I love to be part of romantic dramas. Directors come to me with great stories. I am amazed by how they create such fantastic stories.”
