Kollywood star Vijay is all set to bid adieu to movies and take a plunge into active politics after appearing on the big screen one last time. Vijay’s highly anticipated swan song will mark his 69th project. Tentatively titled Thalapathy69, the film will be directed by H Vinoth.
And here’s the much-awaited update on Thalapathy69. If the latest buzz in the Kollywood circles is anything to go by, Thalapathy69 will be formally announced tomorrow (Sept 14). Noted production house KVN Productions, the banner that’s currently bankrolling Yash’s Toxic, will be producing Thalapathy69.
Star composer Anirudh Ravichander has been roped in to score the music for this biggie. The film will be hitting theaters worldwide next year. More details about the film’s cast and crew will be out at the time of the announcement.
After wrapping up his cinematic journey with Thalapathy69, Vijay will be taking his political outfit Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) to the masses. Vijay had already announced that his party will contest the Tamil Nadu assembly elections in 2026.
