Vijay’s star power in full display; Leo all set to beat Shah Rukh’s Jawan and Pathaan

That Thalapathy Vijay is one of the biggest stars in India is an undisputed fact. Most of Vijay’s recent movies successfully grossed over Rs 300 crore at global the box office. His upcoming pan-India gangster drama, Leo, is all set to take a gigantic opening at the box office on October 19.

Meanwhile, the film has already begun smashing several existing records, thanks to the massive pre-sales in many key global destinations. Leo is eyeing Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s last two industry hits, Jawan and Pathaan, in the UK. Leo’s pre-sales across the United Kingdom have touched the £302K mark.

With 15 more days to go, Leo will not only beat SRK’s Jawan (£307K) and Pathaan (£307K) comfortably, but also set a mammoth pre-sales total for any Indian film in the UK. Salman Khan’s Sultan (£271K) and SRK’s Chennai Express (£258K) are the other 2 Indian movies in the UK top 5 pre-sale grossers.
