Hero Sai Tej’s just released supernatural thriller, Virupaksha, received unanimous positive reviews from critics and fans and packed a solid punch at the box office worldwide on its opening day. The film is estimated to have grossed nearly Rs 12 crore, becoming the second highest opener in Sai Tej’s career after Winner.
In the twin Telugu states, Virupaksha collected a good Rs 4.79 crore share on day one. The film amassed a theatrical share of Rs 1.82 crore in Nizam, which is the highest-ever in the Mega hero’s career. On the other hand, in North America, Virupaksha grossed nearly #275K till 8 PM, and is eyeing the $300K mark by the end of Friday.
