Vishal recently came up with the film Rathnam, which was directed by Hari. The movie marked the third collaboration between Vishal and Hari after Bharani and Pooja. Priya Bhavani Shankar played the female lead. Right from the start, there was a low buzz for Rathnam. The poor reviews and word of mouth made it a box office failure.
Rathnam is currently available for streaming on Prime Video in Tamil and Telugu audios, along with English subtitles. The streaming platform released the film without any prior announcement. The gap between the theatrical and digital release is four weeks.
Samuthirakani, Yogibabu, and Gautham Vasudev Menon played crucial roles. Kaarthekeyen Santhanam of Stonebench Films produced the film in association with Zee Studios. Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad composed the tunes. Let’s see how the film fares in the OTT space.
