During a promotional interview, the team gave clarity regarding this. The director, Vakkantham Vamsi, said that it is a positive dialogue. He said, “We can understand Ponniyin Selvan only if we follow the film carefully. There are lots of characters in it, creating a space for confusion.”
The film’s female lead, Sreeleela, said, “Basically, there will be a few films that we must watch multiple times to understand.” The team stated that they didn’t degrade Ponniyin Selvan. Sudhakar Reddy and Nikitha Reddy produced this film.
