Natasimha Nandamuri Balakrishna recently celebrated 50 years in Tollywood, marked by a grand event in Hyderabad yesterday. The event was attended by industry stalwarts including Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh, Nani, and Rana Daggubati, who made it a memorable occasion.
During his speech, Chiranjeevi mentioned that his blockbuster Indra was, in part, inspired by Balayya’s Samarasimha Reddy. He remarked that factionist roles seem tailor-made for Balayya.
Chiranjeevi also expressed interest in collaborating with Balakrishna on a film that pits the iconic characters Indrasena Reddy against Samarasimha Reddy. He invited director Boyapati Sreenu to take up the challenge of crafting this story.
The possibility of these two legends sharing the screen has excited fans, and many hope Boyapati will rise to the occasion. If he does, it would be a historic cinematic moment for Tollywood.
