Malayalam stalwart Mohanlal’s Drishyam franchise, directed by Jeethu Joseph, is a favorite for many. Drishyam and Drishyam 2 were remade in several languages, and most of the remakes turned out to be successful. Very soon, the Hollywood remake will be out. Ever since the second installment was released, there has been a lot of discussion around the third part.
A few months ago, a rumor floated that Drishyam 3 would be made simultaneously in Malayalam and Hindi by Jeethu Joseph. Recently, another gossip on social media mentioned that the director completed the script work for Drishyam 3. It was even speculated that the movie would be released in 2025 and that the filming would commence soon.
However, the director dismissed these baseless rumors and cleared the air around the much anticipated third part. The project will not happen anytime soon as the script work is yet to be completed. Mohanlal is also busy with several projects, and right now, he is shooting for Lucifer 2. Hence, the wait is going to be longer for Drishyam fans.
