Malavika Mohanan has shared her admiration for Tollywood, stating that the Telugu film industry has grown immensely in terms of scale, numbers, and star power.
Speaking in an interview with NDTV, Malavika says that Tollywood is now as big as Bollywood and that actors who do not work in Telugu cinema are missing out on something truly special.
With pan-India hits like RRR, Pushpa, and Salaar, Tollywood has established itself as a dominant force in Indian cinema, gaining global recognition. Malavika emphasized how Telugu films deliver grand storytelling, high production values, and star-studded performances, making it an exciting industry to be a part of.
She will next be seen in Prabhas’ The Raja Saab which is being directed by Maruthi. Thaman scores the music for this film which is a horror comedy.
