Masooda is arriving in theatres tomorrow, and it is produced by Rahul Yadav, who also bankrolled Malli Raava and Agent Sai Srinivas Athreya. Debutant Sai Kiran helmed the film. Masooda was exclusively screened for young Telugu directors today ahead of the release.
Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya fame Swaroop RSJ, Care Of Kancharapalem fame Venkatesh Maha, Brochevarevarura fame Vivek Athreya, Middle-Class Melodies fame Vinod Ananthoju, Colour Photo fame Sandeep Raj appreciated the film. Producer Rahul Yadav first expressed his condolences to the late Krishna Garu and said Masooda is a genuine film and expressed his hope for the film’s success.
Swaroop RSJ stated that Masooda is a proper horror movie that has to be watched in the theatre. Venkatesh Maha said Masooda is a different experience altogether and praised the sound effects and cinematography. Vinod Anantoju said Masooda was successful in creating a spooky atmosphere and appreciated the producer.
Vivek Athreya said that he had a similar experience as Ammoru and Kantara while watching Masooda and added that making a horror movie takes a lot of technical knowledge. He was too impressed by the sound effects in the film. Sai Kiran stated that he was nervous thinking about the audience’s response and thanked producer Rahul for the opportunity. He further added Masooda is fictional, and the story is narrated from Masooda’s point of view.
Thiruveer said that he had done scary characters earlier and didn’t want to lose the opportunity when makers approached him. He thanked the team for the opportunity. Music composer Prasanth R Vihari said this is his first movie and added it isn’t easy to scare through sounds. Art director Kranthi noted that the film would remain the best in Sangeetha Garu’s career after Shivaputrudu and Khadgam.
