Thalapathy Vijay is currently working with Venkat Prabhu on a movie titled The GOAT. Yuvan Shankar Raja is composing the music. Today the second single from the film was unveiled. A few months back, playback singer Bhavatharini, who is Yuvan’s sister, passed away due to cancer. The team used her voice for the second song with the help of AI technology.
Music director Yuvan shared an emotional note about The GOAT’s second single on his Instagram story. He wrote, “The second single from the GOAT is very special to me, words can never fit to describe this feeling, The moment we were composing this song in Bangalore me and Prabhu felt this song for my sister and at that time I thought to myself once she’s better and out of the hospital we can record her voice but, an hour later I get the news that she’s no more.”
Yuvan Shankar Raja continued, “Little did i know that she won’t make it and I never thought to myself I would be using her voice like this. I would sincerely like to thank the team & all the people involved in the process of making this happen. It is a very bittersweet moment for me”.
