What is bad: The whole concept. Director Kanmani, who was hailed for making a sensitive film 'Naa Oopiri' seems to have lost it completely. There is nothing that can be achieved by showing sleaze for an hour and a half and then preaching morals in the last half hour. All his claims of visiting Call Centers and getting an authentic feel of the life there seems ridiculous once you see this flick. The music is average. The heroines look wooden and mannequins have more expression than them. The Malinga act by one of the supporting cast is slightly ok. More than half the dialogues in the film are censored out.
Me Thinks: Poor show at the box office. At a time when we are getting innovative films like Ashta Chamma or far more entertaining stuff like Ullasanga Utsaahangaa, trying to make a sleazy comedy and setting it in a Call Center instead of a college is a sad idea. Stay away from this one.
Tailpiece: I wonder how Call Center workers will take to the film. They should get it banned if they want their profession to have any respect at all. And I wonder how the censors allowed the flick to be released even with the number of cuts they put in.
