What is bad: The film's script is what spoils it completely. Frankly, the above paragraph has to be the longest that I have written for a film and is still completely unclear. The editor let the film go on and on and on and on and the conclusion is a letdown. The sudden introduction of the reincarnation theory in the film seems plain silly and the getups of the actors in the past life part drew groans from the crowd. Almost 2 hours of the film is dedicated to unnecessary chills and thrills and the entire script is wrapped up in the last half hour. Urvashi Sharma might look pretty as a picture on the ramp, but is definitely not the right fit for a role that requires innumerable closeups of the heroine. The screenplay is complex and the jerky editing does not help at all.
Me Thinks: Grab a DVD of 'A Film By Aravind' and watch it all over again. Sekhar Suri is capable of much much more. Wait for the DVD if you think you must see it, you atleast have a remote in your hand then!
Tailpiece: The titles of the film are really innovative. But that is where the innovation stops and pretty much every cliché of the horror genre – shady characters, creaky doors and steps, dark and remote places find their way into the story. And whatever island the lead characters go to must be incredibly rich, it has a '5' star style restaurant called DownTown Restaurant and yet the lead characters stay in a spooky place called 'Jungle Bells'. Just does not gel!
