He lives a lonely life until one of his friends tells him to complete the 500th film and enter into the record books. Sudheer takes things seriously and once again makes a comeback in films and starts looking for that one film. Will he be successful in today’s crazy world of cinema? What kind of experiences does he face is the crux of the film.
What’s Good?
The story of the film itself is so unique. Director Hardik Mehta pays rich tribute to all the junior artists in the industry. The way he showcases how junior artists are treated even after being there in the industry for years. The best part of the film is the performance of lead actor Sanjay Mishra. He as the aged junior artist has done a superb job and the best part of the film. Sanjay is emotional, fun, and gives a memorable performance that stays with you even after the film is done. The way he suffers during the first day of the shoot is shown in a very realistic manner. The family emotions are very strong in the film.
What’s Bad
The film is devoid of all the commercial aspects and is a bit slow. The climax of the film could have also been better as the end looks a bit rushed.
Final Word
Overall, Kaamyaab is a heart-touching film about the life of a junior artist. Sanjay Mishra leads from the front and delivers a moving performance. As the duration of the film is also under two hours, this film is a must-watch during this lockdown for its unique theme and emotional narration. Don’t miss it.
