A new Telugu movie titled Nachinavadu has released in theaters today. Read our review to know how the movie fared.

Story:

Anand (Laxman Chinna) is an architect who yearns for the right life partner, despite facing parental pressure to settle down. His life takes a turn when he falls head over heels for Anu (Kavya Ramesh) at first sight and decides to pursue her. Anu reciprocates his feelings, but a shocking revelation about her shatters Anand’s world. What is this revelation, and how does Anand respond? The main plot of the movie delves into these intriguing questions.

Plus Points:

The standout feature of the movie is its music, composed by Malayalam music director Mejjo Josseph. The melodious tunes provide a silver lining despite the film’s visual shortcomings.

Kavya Ramesh delivers a decent performance in her role as a woman determined to live life on her own terms, even in the face of parental and societal pressure.

Minus Points:

The movie suffers from a lackluster storyline that leaves viewers questioning why they come to watch it. Towards the end of the film, a message appears on the screen, “This movie is dedicated to all women.” While this sentiment is appreciated, the director’s portrayal of characters like Rupa (Prerna Bhat) and another woman in a negative light, depicting them as having weaknesses for men, raises doubts.

Lead actor Laxman Chinna, who also serves as the writer, producer and director, disappoints in all these roles. His acting and dialogues are cringe, and his overall performance lacks charisma and appeal.

The remaining characters also failed to make an impression, making their performances more suited for a television serial. Overall, there are no positive aspects worth mentioning about the movie.

Technical Aspects:

Except for the music director, the film’s other departments fail to leave their mark. Laxman Chinna’s role as a writer, director, producer and actor proves underwhelming, contributing to the film’s lackluster quality.

Verdict:

On the whole, Nachinavadu lacks significant positive aspects to discuss. The film’s music, courtesy of Mejjo Josseph, stands out as the only redeeming feature. Overall, there is little else to say about the movie. We strongly advise you to skip it.
