Music Review : Padi Padi Leche Manasu – Soul-stirring
Published on Dec 11, 2018 1:22 am IST

Padi Padi Leche Manasu is Sharwanand and Sai Pallavi’s soon-to-release romantic drama. Directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, the film is slated to hit screens on December 21. Sudhakar Cherukuri has produced the film. PPLM’s audio album, composed by Vishal Chandrasekhar and penned by Krishna Kanth, has been released this evening. Let’s see how the songs fare:

Song 1: Padi Padi Leche ManasuLadies and Gentleman

Analysis: The album starts off with this title track, which was released last month and impressed music lovers. This love-filled song is undoubtedly the best in the album and will give instant romantic vibes. Vishal Chandrasekhar’s soul-stirring composition and singers Armaan Malik and Sindhuri Vishal’s earnest rendition add depth to Krishna Kanth’s poignant lyrics. This song will surely be a visual treat.

Maate Vinaduga

Song 2: Kallolam

Analysis: One of the most talented playback singers at the moment, Anurag Kulkarni, has crooned this situational love track. The song talks about a young man’s feelings for his girl, as he newly falls in love. The popularity of this song depends on its placement in the narrative.

Song 3: Hrudayam JaripeCrazy Car

Analysis:  Hrudayam Jaripe is an experimental fusion of classical and rock music. Singer Yazin Nizir has sung this number with his trademark exuberance. Composer Vishal has done an impressive job. We may see Sai Pallavi performing a classical dance in this number.

Song 4: Emai PoyaveNeeve Neeve

Analysis:  The man in form Sid Sriram, who has sung some chartbusting songs in recent times, has crooned this endearing number with utmost zeal. Sid’s trembling voice reflects the male protagonist’s pain as he pours his heart out for his lady love. This intense and emotional song will create a deep impact if picturized well. Lyricist Krishna Kanth deserves a special mention for penning some heart-touching lyrics.

Song 5: Oh My Lovely LalanaCrazy Car

Analysis:  This is yet another fusion of classical rendition accompanied by trendy, peppy beats. Sindhuri Vishal displays the range and modulation in her voice to her full potential in this number. Vishal Chandrasekhar does an okay job with this passable song.

Song 6: Urike Cheli ChilakaNeeve Neeve

Analysis:  This is the last song in the album. Rangamma Mangamma singer Manasi teams up with Rahul Sipligunj’s energetic voice for this duet. The song is full of peppy beats and colloquial lyrics and it adds another dimension to the love track between the lead couple.

Verdict:-

Padi Padi Leche Manasu’s audio album will stand out as one of the best in Sharwanand and Sai Pallavi’s careers. The songs will add various shades and depth to the breezy and emotional romantic relationship the lead couple shares.
