The RCB scripted history in IPL by defeating the arch-rival CSK in the IPL league match in Chepauk last night. RCB defeated CSK at the iconic ground for the first time in 18 years. Celebrations erupted in the RCB camp and on social media, while CSK fans trolled star RCB batsman Virat Kohli.

Young Bengaluru actress Varsha Bollamma, a loyal fan of RCB, took to X on Saturday morning and condemned the nasty trolls on Virat while praising CSK legend MS Dhoni. “We shouldn’t insult one player to praise another,” she wrote. The 96 actress went on to write, “Yes, the competition is fun. Yes, there’s a lot of funny banter and rivalry, but NO, we shouldn’t insult players who represent our country. Don’t forget—they are MEN IN BLUE! Not red, yellow, orange or purple.”

Varsha’s post has won the hearts of hers and RCB fans. A fan replied, “You are not Bollamma, you are Bujjamma.” On the movies front, Varsha was last seen in Sundeep Kishan’s Ooru Peru Bhairavakona. She has a horror thriller titled Iruvam gearing up for release this year.

ICC Champions Trophy 2025

Team India has done the nation proud! The Men In Blue have just clinched the ICC Champions Trophy by registering a historic win over New Zealand at the Dubai International Stadium. Skipper Rohit Sharma lifted the trophy, leaving the 140 billion Indians in awe.

Batting first, New Zealand posted a low total of 251 in 50 overs. Daryl Mitchell (63) and Michael Bracewell (53) helped the Kiwis register a decent score. While Varun Chakaravarthy and Kuldeep Yadav took 2 wickets each, Shami and Jadeja scalped a wicket each.

In what could have been an easy chase, Team India seemed comfortably cruising, with openers Rohit Sharma (76) and Subhman Gill (31) giving the team a solid start with a 105-run partnership. But things turned intense as India lost the wickets of the openers and Virat Kohli back-to-back.

However, Shreyas Iyer (48), Axar Patel (29), and KL Rahul (34) put India back on the winning track. The Men In Blue chased the total in 49 overs, helping the country lift its third ICC Champions Trophy.
