Actor Sivaji, who once played lead roles, has made a comeback in Tollywood with the just-released courtroom drama, Court – State vs A Nobody. The film marks Sivaji’s return to Telugu cinema after almost a decade. Sivaji is thrilled with the immense praise for his performance as Mangapathi in Court.

“I thank my wife and children and ETV Bapineedu garu for inspiring me to return to acting. I have listened to at least 80 stories before signing Court. Portraying a character like Mangapathi has been my dream for the past 25 years. I feel fortunate to have fulfilled my long-cherished dream with Nani’s Court,” said Sivaji.

Sivaji went on to say that Court’s director, Ram Jagdeesh, used to watch him on Bigg Boss every night and decided to cast him for the Mangapathi character. “The entire credit goes to my director, Ram Jagdeesh. The way he envisioned the character inspired by real life is next level. He took enough care in designing all the characters in the movie,” he added.

Sivaji said that he is open to portraying interesting characters and following the footsteps of legends like SV Rangarao, Gummadi, Jaggaiah, and Rajanala. He will next be seen in a film that also features his former co-star Laya, Dandora, and the 90’s Middle Class sequel. Court – State vs A Nobody also features Harsh Roshan, Sridevi Appala, Rohini, and Priyadarshi in lead roles. The film is produced by Prasanthi Tipirneni, while Nani’s sister Deepthi Ganta is the co-producer.
