For the past few hours, there have been rumors that Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 will not arrive in theatres on August 15, 2024. The gossip in Kollywood film circles is that Vikram’s much-delayed Thangalaan will occupy the Independence Day slot to cash in on the long weekend advantage. Meanwhile, the makers of Akshay Kumar’s new film, Khel Khel Mein, announced that the movie will be released on August 15. The movie was initially slated for release on September 6.

Khel Khel Mein, directed by Mudassar Aziz, also features Taapsee Pannu, Vaani Kapoor, Pragya Jaiswal, Fardeen Khan, Ammy Virk, and Aditya Seal in crucial roles. The film is jointly produced by T-Series Wakoo Films and KKM Film Production. The sudden change in the release date of Khel Khe Mein has fueled rumors about Pushpa 2’s postponement.

Icon Star fans are now in a dilemma, and they are expecting an official statement from the Pushpa 2 team. According to rumors, Bollywood distributors have received a note stating Pushpa 2 will not make it to August 15, which made the makers of the Akshay Kumar starrer prepone the release date. Not just Khel Khek Mein but also John Abraham and Sharvari’s Vedaa is also releasing on Independence Day, and it seems that Pushpa 2 will move to a later date.
