Released on April 11 as an Eid festive treat, Bollywood stars Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff’s high budget action drama, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, has emerged as an all-time biggest disaster of Hindi Cinema. Made on a massive budget of about Rs 350 crore, the film has turned out to be Akshay Kumar’s 11th flop of his 14 movies released post Covid.
On Monday, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan collected a shockingly low all-India nett of just about Rs 2.25 crore. The film’s 5-day India nett amounts to a meager Rs 40 crore. The collections came down crashing even after the tickets were made available for just Rs 127 in select cinemas. Trade analysts predict that BMCM may end its lifetime collection within Rs 60 crore, with just about Rs 35 crore distributor share.
Bade Miyan Chote Miyan also features Prithviraj Sukumaran, Sonakshi Sinha, Manushi Chhillar, Alaya F, and others in key roles. The Ali Abbas Zafar directorial is produced by Vashu Bhagnani.
