It’s been recently reported that acclaimed Bollywood actor Ali Fazal will be playing a crucial role in Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam’s highly-anticipated pan-India action drama, Thug Life. The Mirzapur and Furious 7 actor is all set to join Thug Life’s team to film his portions.

In his latest interview with a national news portal, Ali Fazal expressed his excitement about collaborating with the two stalwarts of Indian cinema. “I am thrilled to be a part of Mani Sir’s vision for Thug Life., and I can only hope I bring something of significance to this canvas. It’s also an honor to work alongside Kamal sir and share notes with him on this. I am deeply grateful to Mani Sir for entrusting me with this role and am eager to bring it to life on screen,” said Ali Fazal.

Thug Life marks Kamal and Mani’s reunion after their iconic gangster drama, Nayagan, which was released 36 years ago. Trisha, Simbu, Sanya Malhotra, and others essay key roles in Thug Life. The film will have music composed by AR Rahman. Thug Life is slated for release in cinemas in December this year.
