The teaser of Vishnu Manchu’s most ambitious project, Kannappa, is creating waves on YouTube with over 17 million views. The teaser was first screened at the Cannes Film Festival, and the digital release happened a few days ago. The project is made on a humongous budget.
The latest buzz in the film circles is that Kannappa makers are in plans to release the film in December 2024. Already, Pushpa 2 is lined up for release in December, and there are also rumors that Game Changer and Hari Hara Veera Mallu might also arrive in the same month. We need to see if Kannappa makers will take the risk by releasing it in December, as it looks jam-packed.
Kannappa also stars Prabhas, Akshay Kumar, Mohanlal, Kajal Aggarwal, Mohan Babu, and others in key roles. Akshay Kumar plays Lord Shiva in this big-budget film, which Mukesh Kumar Singh directs. Mohan Babu is the producer, while Preity Mukundhan is the leading lady.
