Gopichand was last seen in the action drama Bhimaa, directed by Kannada filmmaker A. Harsha, who previously helmed Shiv Rajkumar’s Vedhaa. Bhimaa received mixed reviews from critics and didn’t get the desired response at the box office. The movie is currently streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar in multiple languages.
The latest update is that Bhimaa will have its world television premiere on Sunday (May 26) on the Star Maa channel at 1 PM. As per the latest trend, films that didn’t do well in theatres are registering good responses on small screens, and hence, Bhimaa is expected to rake in a decent TRP.
Malvika Sharma and Priya Bhavani Shankar played the leading ladies in this flick, which also has a devotional touch. Senior producer KK Radhamohan produced Bhimaa under the banner of Sri Satya Sai Arts. Ravi Basrur, of KGF fame, composed the tunes. Naresh, Nasser, Subhalekha Sudhakar, Vennela Kishore, Rohini, and others played vital roles.
