Sabari is an upcoming pan-Indian movie starring the versatile actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in the title role. Anil Katz is making his directorial debut with this film, which is set to make its theatrical debut on May 3, 2024.
Today, filmmaker Karuna Kumar launched the second single, Alasina Oopiri, from the movie. The song delves into the mother-daughter sentiment portrayed in the film, showcasing the fighting spirit of Varalaxmi’s character.
On the occasion, Karuna Kumar said, “I loved the lyrical depth and the visual presentation of the song. The mother-daughter sentiment depicted in the film has universal value. The team put their heart and soul into this film. Varalaxmi excels in female-oriented roles, and I’m sure director Anil Katz has brought something very interesting to the table.”
Produced by Mahendra Nath Kondla under the banner of Maha Movies and presented by Maharshi Kondla, Sabari is a psychological thriller enriched with emotional depth. The film boasts a talented ensemble cast, including Ganesh Venkatraman, Shashank, Maim Gopi, Sunayana, Rajashree Nair, Madhunandan, and Rashika Bali (Bombay). Gopi Sundar serves as the music director.
