Speculations are rife that Allu Arjun’s much-awaited Pushpa 2: The Rule won’t arrive on August 15, 2024, due to a delay in production. Though there is no official confirmation, the news has gone viral on social media, and Icon Star fans are worried about it. The latest buzz in Kollywood media is that Vikram’s Thangalaan makers plan to release the film on August 15 as they believe that Pushpa 2 won’t make it to Independence Day.

Any film that releases on August 15 (Thursday) will benefit from a long weekend, and the cherry on top is the first Monday, which is also a holiday due to Raksha Bandhan. Pushpa 2 has good buzz in Tamil, too and if at all it is postponed, Thangalaan makers would love to take its release date without any second thought. Thangalaan is directed by Pa. Ranjith and produced by Studio Green.

A couple of days ago, Studio Green’s CEO, Dhananjeyan, issued a statement asking people to stop advising them about Thangalaan’s release date. Hence, the latest buzz about the Vikram starrer is grabbing the eyeballs. Thangalaan is based on a few real-life incidents that happened in the KGF area. Malvika Mohanan is the female lead.
